The Training visa (subclass 407) and the Temporary Activity visa (subclass 408) are temporary visas. These visas support applicants to perform specific work tasks in Australia on a short-term basis. Activities covered by these visas include events that are endorsed by the Australian Government or other special programs and activities.

Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for the Training visa (subclass 407) or the Temporary Activity visa (subclass 408), you must:
- Be sponsored or supported by an eligible organisation
- Provide evidence of skills relevant to the activity to occur in Australia
- Meet any relevant endorsement or professional requirements
- Meet minimum health and character requirements
- Have proficient English-language skills
